Such a great first day.
Tiring, but great.
Thinking about how grateful I am that former students actually want to come back and say hello.
They don't have to. They don't have to do much of anything.
The fact that some did makes me believe I'm doing something right.
Yes, I'm human and mess things up like anyone does.
The difference is that I now can own my mistakes and share my 'human-ness' with my students.
They need to see it modeled. AND accepted.
You're human. Be one.
